"Kamala involved in P-Diddy’s Rapes and Assaults!" text over an Instagram video posted Sept. 26 reads. The post includes a clip of conservative podcast host Jeremy Herrell saying, "Kamala Harris was the attorney general in that state while allegations were being made, while women were coming out and saying that they were beaten, assaulted and raped and drugged. And Kamala Harris did nothing about it."

The article claims that politicians reportedly took part in Combs’ "freak offs," at which Combs would coerce women into sexual encounters with sex workers. The article does not mention Harris.

Harris was California’s attorney general from 2011 to 2017. Combs’ indictment says allegations against him date back decades and that his criminal enterprise was headquartered in both Manhattan and Los Angeles. The indictment does not mention Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
The Instagram video presented no evidence to support the claim, citing only Harris’ role as California’s attorney general during the period in which Combs supposedly committed the crimes.
We searched Google and the Nexis news database and found no credible reports of Harris being involved in Combs’ alleged crimes.
PolitiFact also previously found that photographs showing Harris posing with Combs were altered.
