Harris has not called former President Donald Trump "Adolf Hitler." She has spoken about statements from his former chief of staff, who said in recorded interviews with The New York Times that Trump more than once spoke positively about Hitler, the German Nazi dictator.
A day after podcaster Joe Rogan hosted former President Donald Trump on "The Joe Rogan Experience," a social media post shared a video of what looked like Vice President Kamala Harris sitting at Rogan’s guest microphone.
"BREAKING NEWS: Kamala Harris Appears on The Joe Rogan Podcast," the caption on the Oct. 27 Threads post said.
"Donald Trump is literally Adolf Hitler," Harris appeared to say.

Harris has not appeared on Rogan’s show. Harris' team and Rogan have confirmed there are no immediate plans for such an interview. Harris’ spokesperson Ian Sams told MSNBC that the scheduling didn’t work out. Rogan wrote on X that the Harris team had asked him to travel for an hourlong interview but that he declined. He said he still hopes an interview might be possible in the future.

The video that this post shared originated as a satire, then spread as if it were real, without any disclaimers.
The comedian Danny Polishchuk originally posted the video on his social media accounts Oct. 26 as a joke. The audio does not align with the video and the cadence of Harris’ and Rogan’s speech is not true to life.
At the end of Polishchuk’s original video, Trump appears and supposedly says, "I’m Donald Trump and I approve this message. Follow and subscribe to Danny’s perfect content."
PolitiFact reached out to Polishchuk, who confirmed that he created the video using artificial intelligence.
Harris has not said that Trump is "literally Adolf Hitler." John Kelly, a retired U.S. Marine Corps general and Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, told The Atlantic and The New York Times that Trump spoke positively about Hitler, the German Nazi leader. Harris has responded to those statements, saying they show that he is unfit to be U.S. president.
Trump denies making these remarks.
We rate the claim that this video shows Harris appeared on Rogan’s podcast Pants on Fire!
