The U.S. Senate race in Wisconsin has taken on added urgency as the midterm elections draw near, with some believing the outcome could determine control of Congress. 

In the hotly contested race, Republican incumbent U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson is facing Democrat Mandela Barnes, the state’s lieutenant governor. The election is Nov. 8, 2022.
