Matthew Crowley has spent three decades in journalism at newspapers in Nevada, Arizona and New York state. He has supervised, edited and written for all four major newsroom desks — city, business, features and sports and edited on department-specific, universal and digital copy desks. He’s won national, regional and state awards for reporting and headline writing and mentors other journalists through the Syracuse University Alumni Partnership Program. He supports journalism as a member of the Society for Editing and Investigative Reporters and Editors.
