David Suetterlein, R-Roanoke County, was elected to the Virginia Senate in 2015. Before that he worked in a number of GOP campaigns in Southwest Virinia, was chairman of the Roanoke County Republican Party and was a legislative aid for for two state senators. Suetterlein is a graduate of Grove City College in Pennsylavania and is a real estate agent.
