Tesla shareholder meeting video altered to misrepresent CEO Elon Musk’s comments
A recent video of Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk speaking at a company shareholders meeting has been dubbed with fake audio in a Facebook post that promises a supposed investment opportunity.
"ElonMusk’ latest investment surprises banking experts and scares big banks too!" reads a July 10 Facebook post that shares the video. The video’s caption says: "ElonMusk is urging everyone in the UK to take advantage of this great opportunity before the big banks close completely."
The video appears to show Musk mispronouncing his own name while introducing himself and then saying he would "like to introduce you to Quantum AI, the world’s first quantum computing software developed by my team."
