No, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tracis Kelce didn’t quit X and call it a ‘toxic waste dump’
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has said his father is often fooled by fake headlines on Facebook about his son and his son’s girlfriend, singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
We don’t know if he’s seen this one from a Nov. 17 Facebook post: "NFL Travis Kelce announced he’s leaving Elon Musk’s ‘hate machine’ X app, calling it a ‘toxic waste dump’ after his scathing and hurtful comments about Taylor Swift."
But it’s just as unfounded as others that have appeared on social media.

We looked for credible evidence, such as news reports and public statements from Kelce or Musk, but found nothing to corroborate this claim.
Kelce’s X account was still active as of Nov. 26. He last posted on the social media platform Nov. 13. But he didn’t post a statement renouncing X; he put up two emojis — a smiling face wearing sunglasses and a basketball player — in response to another post that has since been deleted.
We rate the claim that Kelce quit X and called it a "toxic waste dump" False.
