Another altered video appears to show an outburst during a Biden speech, but that didn’t happen
When President Joe Biden gave a gun safety speech at the White House in July he fielded some remarks from a heckler, but nothing like what appears to happen in a video now circulating on social media.
In the clip, taken from that speech, it sounds like the crowd is chanting " f--- Joe Biden."
But the video is altered. That didn’t happen.
An Instagram post sharing the video was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram.)
The audio of the people chanting was layered over the authentic video clip.

The shouting starts as Biden says, "...on dealing with gun violence. Because make no mistake."
He then says: "Sit down and hear what I have to say."
The sound of the person heckling Biden in the original video is too faint to understand what he’s saying in the recording, but it’s not a group chanting profanities at the president.
We rate claims that such an outburst happened during this speech False.
