John F. Kennedy Jr. died in 1999 when the plane he was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. But a Facebook post newly drawing attention online suggests the late son of former President John F. Kennedy is alive, and he startled former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"She collapsed when she saw JFK Jr. as she was being arrested!" reads the description of a video shared on Facebook in November 2021. "If u look closer u see the ankle bracelets too!"
The video shows Clinton stumbling into a van helped by people around her.

The clip of Clinton is authentic; the claim that it shows her being arrested or startled by Kennedy is not.
The video was taken in 2016, when the then-presidential candidate left a 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York City early on the 15th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, after she fell ill, The Washington Post reported. She was flanked by several Secret Service agents "who are regulars on her detail," the Post said. A campaign spokesperson told the newspaper that Clinton got overheated.
