No, Arizona troopers didn’t discover 50K ballots for Trump in a dumpster

- The Arizona Department of Public Safety said this isn’t true.
On Friday morning, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was leading in Arizona, where some news outlets had already declared the former vice president the winner.
There were still 300,000 ballots remaining to be counted as an unnerving announcement started to spread on social media.
"Arizona trooper found 50,000 ballots in dumpster all for President Trump!!" one Facebook post said.

But we checked with the Arizona Department of Public Safety. and a spokesperson and sergeant there told us that, actually, troopers have not found 50,000 ballots for President Donald Trump.
"It is not true," a sergeant said.
