In June, Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, posed for a photo with activists and took a knee, a symbol of support for demonstrators protesting police brutality.
But an image of the former vice president kneeling that’s circulating on Facebook does not show this moment.
"Joe Biden takes a knee after spotting an American flag near his childhood home in Pennsylvania," reads the description above a photo of Biden kneeling in the middle of a street.

The image does show Biden in Scranton, Penn., but he’s kneeling to talk with a child during a visit to his childhood home in July, according to the caption for the photo, which was taken by AP photographer Matt Slocum.
