Donald Trump isn’t really this much taller than Michael Bloomberg
If Your Time is short
- A photo of Donald Trump and Michael Bloomberg has been altered to make Bloomberg look shorter.
President Donald Trump has aimed his insults at presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg, belittling the former New York City mayor with the moniker "Mini Mike."
"Mini Mike is a 5’4" mass of dead energy who does not want to be on the debate stage with these professional politicians," Trump tweeted on Feb. 13. "No boxes please."
The Associated Press has already looked into whether Bloomberg’s that short. (He’s not.)
But now we’re looking at a photo published on Twitter the same day as Trump’s tweet that appears to show the two men standing together. In the image, Bloomberg’s head doesn’t reach the president’s shoulder.

That’s because while Trump is taller than Bloomberg, this photo has been altered to make him look about half a foot taller.
The original photo, taken at the New York Observer’s 25th anniversary in March 2013, shows Bloomberg between Trump and Jared Kusnher, the president’s son-in-law. In the real image, Bloomberg’s head clears Trump’s chin.
We rate this post False.
