Lately, Facebook users are again sharing a June 3, 2016, post that appears to show former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton smiling and shaking hands with the former leader of al-Qaida, Osama bin Laden.
"Remember this picture when you go to vote!" reads the text over the black-and-white image.

The image appeared in a 2007 Photoshop contest on the site FreakingNews.com. But, as you may have guessed, it’s doctored.
The original photo shows Clinton shaking hands with Indian musician Shubhashish Mukherjee in 2004.
As the BBC reported in October 2017, a Russian official was duped by the Photoshop job.
"Recall these fantastic, mind-boggling photographs of how Bin Laden was hosted in the White House," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova then said.
Of course, President George W. Bush was in the White House in 2004. Clinton was a senator.
